My Movie Concession guys that were in July’s issue of Stuffed Magazine are for sale on Etsy. They’d look super cute on a shelf in your tv/movie room!!

She’s all done! She stands about 14″ tall. The shells are made out of Sculpey and then painted and glued in place. I’m very happy with her. Now off to Stuffed Mag.

I finished up all the scales last week. I lost track of counting them at about 100. I like the look of it once they were all put on but I HATED cutting them all out. This was ten times worse than cutting out the scallop shapes for the owls.

I’m coming along with my mermaid. I finished up the main construction of her. Now all the detailing. I’m currently cutting out all the scales and it’s taking forever. I’m kicking myself now for making them so small.

I just realized that the deadline for Stuffed Magazine is quickly approaching. I’ve had this sketch done for a couple weeks but I’ve been so busy with trying to complete my Magicians Assistants girls that I haven’t had a chance to start this. I always forget that from about mid July till the first of the year I get really busy with work for shows. I love it but I feel a little frantic right now. Anyway, I started her last night and got the head and torso sewn together. I took a pic last night that I hope to post later.

Stuffed magazine Volume 3 Issue 2 is now out in stores. I was lucky enough to have work in the magazine again. Check out pages 56-57. There are tons of other great plush featured as well!

I have decided to create these guys for my next submission to Stuffed. I think these are going to be a lot of fun to make. I personally love the siamese twin pop sickle.

My ice cream guys are in the current issue of Stuffed Magazine. I just got mine in the mail the other day. They hit stores January 1st. I really love how they staged the photo. They look so cute and edible! Some of these guys are also in the Luv-able & Hug-able show going on right now.There is still one more ice cream guy in my Etsy store. Click image to see larger.

I’ve got work again in Stuffed Magazine. This is Volume 2 that will hit stores Wednesday July 1st. I found the last issue, January’s issue, at Borders. So I’m guessing it’s pretty easy to find.
Though I didn’t make the front cover my name did. Of course they spelled it wrong, but that’s ok.

I finished these guys up this weekend and will sending them off to Stuffed Magazine this week. The girl is about 14″ tall and the villian is 20″ tall. His hat is 5″ of that. The train tracks are made of balsa wood and she is sewn to them. Maybe I should have made a plush train to go with them since the train really is the third character in this scene.
